Standard 5, 10 and 20 lb portable dry chemical extinguishers, which is what we bundle. Other agents with a similar cylinder diameter usually fit too. If you have a specific model in mind, send it over and we will confirm before you order.
02Does it need to be bolted down or assembled?
No. The stand is one piece of rotomolded polyethylene with a flared, weighted base. Set it on the floor and it is ready. There are no fasteners, no brackets and nothing to assemble. Outdoors, the center can be drilled to drain rainwater.
03What does the sign and post option add?
A FIRE EXTINGUISHER sign on a post that seats into the stand, raising the identification to eye level so the unit can be spotted across a large floor or over parked equipment. Every stand already has the FIRE panel molded into each face.
04Is the stand OSHA compliant?
OSHA regulates how extinguishers are mounted, located and identified (29 CFR 1910.157) and how many are needed on construction sites (1926.150). A stand is a mounting and identification method that keeps the unit readily accessible without a wall. Your extinguisher type, rating and spacing still depend on the hazard and your local authority.
